I love recording audio….or should I say I love “everything” audio.

During my time in broadcast media, I had the pleasure of engineering many recording projects; from professional musicians to down-and-dirty garage bands, radio programs and everything in between.

My home studio features a Rode K2, Focusrite channel strip, Mackie 1202 VLZ, Telos phone patch, ISDN, a dedicated DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) chock full of software, a Delta 44 M-Audio A/D converter (older, but it’s one of the best PCI cards M-Audio ever made) and of course, a sound proof booth.

The last time I checked the audio folder on my DAW, I had created some 52,688 audio files over the years. That’s a lot of audio. It’s also a lot of editing. Hopefully, that will give you an idea of the amount of experience I have recording and editing audio.

I could show you a picture of my studio, but that doesn’t tell you what it sounds like, much in the same way voice talent make the mistake of putting their personal picture on their website. Voiceover is an audio product, not an air-brushed photo in a magazine.

So, if you’d like to hear my sound, please feel free to fill out the voiceover request quote form here and I’d be happy to send you a custom sample.

All the best,

Gus Richards
